My phone thinks I’m gay.

I stumbled across this fact while trying to text a friend yesterday. If I type in I[space] my phone will guess what the next word is and suggest it in a light gray color (which is unfortunately hard to show on a YouTube quality video). I assume that these suggestions are based off of texting patterns, however I promise you this MUST not be the case. When I typed in I[space] and followed the suggestions, here is what happened:

“I love men”

I apologize that the video is hard to see, but if you watch it in fullscreen you can tell for a moment there at the end that my phone wants me to declare to the world that I love men.

About 4 or 5 times over the past work term(3 months) my phone’s screen has been full of static-y junk when I open it. Luckily, the fix seems to be closing and reopening my phone. However, on New Years Eve my phone did it and then got stuck that way, until it fixed itself the next morning.

As you can imagine, it’s quite difficult to navigate my contact list. Tomorrow I need to go to Alltel and get this remedied.

Maybe I should see how much texting costs while I’m there…

In happy news:

I went shopping today with Elissa. Spent the $50 Meijer gift card I got from Magna on some groceries for school. I got soup(lots), brown rice, brownie mix, donuts (we ate those), shephards pie seasoning, and John Mccann’s steel-cut Irish oatmeal (thanks to Bill).

Now I need to work on some budgeting stuff…
